How long will a DJI Power 500 run a gas furnace?
About an hour — 1 h 12 min typically, from 1 h 8 min in the worst case to 1 h 17 min at best. That assumes a gas furnace pulling 600 W for 50% of the time (average 300 W), plus the station's 9 W AC mains socket overhead — 309 W in total out of 372 usable watt-hours.
The gas makes the heat, but the blower that pushes warm air through the ducts is a real motor with a real start-up surge — far more than a British combi boiler. Variable-speed (ECM) blowers usually draw less.
